Best Christmas Movies Ever!

03 Dec

Love Actually

So I had a little Christmas craving while driving the car today. It’s so easy to get my fill of Christmas music on every other channel. What I really wanted, though, was to see Love Actually again. The thing is that it is not my favorite Christmas movie by any means. It’s simply what I craved in the moment.

So then I got to wondering, what movies are you craving this time of year?

In a recent poll (amongst my friends on FB) these movies were billed “Most Likely To Get Re-Watched” for Christmas 2013.

Some folks were very specific about which version of the films you needed to watch. For instance the “George C. Scott” A Christmas Carol. While others left you to choose whether you wanted Carey Grant in The Bishop’s Wife or Denzel Washington to feature in The Preacher’s Wife.

Rounding out the list after only 8 hours of polling were these. Sometimes though I think we forget that some really great movies in other genres were made around for Christmas releases. So I decided to through some of those into the mix as well.  Really, though I want to hear what you think is missing–especially if it is actually one of your favorites this time of year. Perhaps it’s a minority pick. I know a guy whose family watches Ben Hur every year.  It’s December. What movie are you craving?
