Holland Expat – Bakery Protein

IMG_0171According to my five guys, you can’t make a meal, even light breakfast, without protein. So here are three options in croissant pastry from a recent bakarji trip. Frikadelle Broodje (a sausage in bread), Sate Broodje (peanut-sauced meat Dutch-Indian style), and Ragout Broodje (inexplicable savory mash-up, reminiscent of pot-roast stew). All crowd pleasers at mi casa.
