Empanada or Pot Pie? Mmmallorca.

photo-5The photo isn’t so great, but it still looked good enough for my oldest son to comment that he’d like one. Sold as an empanada I thought this resembled a pot pie. Regardless it was too delicious and another example of the neat finds at the local grocery store in Majorca. Perfect for someone eating in on a  work-a-tion.

The crust wasn’t as flaky as the empanada I posted last week, but it was still thick and yummy. The bottom layer inside was creamy peas with onions, and the rest tasted like spiced pulled pork that had not been pulled but left as solid meat. Very filling and worth trying if you need lunch on the go.

Mmm. Mmm. Mmmajorca.
